Avatar Cloud is the app for tracking and visualizing your fitness and serves as the basis for the virtual locker room. It allows you to start the scanning system and perform body scans.
You can use your avatar in the app to try on clothes quickly and digitally and see how they fit and look on your body. Of course, you can also share your avatar with friends, family and your followers on social media.
In addition, after the first scan, you can see personal body measurements based on 20 different parameters.
Use your avatar to try on clothes virtually. Whether you’re buying online or in-store, the app lets you try on clothes in a virtual fitting room and shows you how they fit on your body. Plus, the app gives you size recommendations based on your body measurements.
Rotate your avatar and see how the garment looks from all sides of your body.
This way, you’ll find the perfect fit without having to enter a fitting room and get the shopping experience you deserve.
All of this is possible within minutes with just one scan.
After your first body scan, your avatar is automatically created and displayed in the app.
You can share your avatar on social networks and show it to your fans and followers to let them see your training success or clothes you tried on virtually.
This is a quick and easy way to get feedback from your community.
Changes of the body due to healthy and balanced nutrition, training or muscle building are made visible on your avatar within the Avatar Cloud. Keep track of your physical development and get body measurements like waist, chest and hip circumference.
The integrated scale provides your BMR and fat analysis. These help you to keep an eye on your health. You also have an overview of your body proportions.
Reduce fat and build muscle with workout programs and a healthy diet will change your body. Within AvatarCloud, changes are now visually displayed.
What can I do with the app?
In the app you can track your body measurements and see your avatar. We are developing the app and soon you will be able to do virtual fitting within the app as well.
What does scanning mean?
Scanning means that the scanner takes many images of your body at the same time.
Are there any health risks?
No. The body scanner takes many pictures of you at the same time and combines the pictures and data to create an avatar including body measurements.
What is a BodyID?
BodyID is our name for all your body measurements, which are displayed in the app after the scan.
Where can I get scanned?
At the moment we have scanners in the following locations:
Berlin:
H&M, Kurfürstendamm 237, 10719 Berlin
JOHN REED, Brunnenstrasse 105 – 109, 13355 Berlin
JOHN REED CLUB, Prenzlauer Allee 248-251, 10405 Berlin
Hamburg:
H&M, Spitaler Straße 12, 20095 Hamburg
What do I have to wear for the scan?
To get accurate body measurements, we recommend wearing tight clothing. At best, wear underwear or tight sportswear. At best, we recommend wearing light-colored clothing during the scan.
Can I wear glittering clothes?
Wearing glittery clothing during the scan can negatively affect the scan result, as the clothing can reflect light. For this reason, we recommend not wearing clothing that reflects light.
Is there anything else I need to be aware of for the scan?
Yes, during the scan it is important to stand still. This only takes a few seconds.
It is also necessary to stand in an A pose so that every part of the body is visible on the images and the exact body measurements can be captured. What this pose looks like can be seen on the screen in the scanner.
I have long hair, is this a problem for the scan?
No, long hair is not a problem for the scan itself.
However, we recommend tying long hair up into a bun so that the neck is exposed. This is the only way we can calculate the exact neck circumference, which is necessary for the virtual fitting of outerwear.
What does it cost to get scanned?
It costs nothing to be scanned.
How often should I be scanned?
If you use the avatar with body measurements for virtual fitting, we recommend that you get scanned once a year or at the latest when you notice that your body has changed.
